Bring your "A" game and challenge your classmates to a match. Quizbowl meets Friday night cage fights in this U.S. state capitals review game featuring timed rounds, realistic prizefight sound effects, and pre-game trash talk!

In State Capital Combat, fighters alternate turns to see who can correctly identify the capitals of U.S. states with the best time and accuracy. Each round contains 10 randomly selected U.S. states. Answer format is multiple choice using randomly selected cities/towns from the state in question.

In keeping with the cage fight theme, players are encouraged to give their fighter a cool name and dish out a little trash talk before each round. Trash talk messages are then delivered to the opposing player during each turn... adding to the competitive spirit of the game.

Matches are 3 rounds per player. A "Current Rankings" score tally follows each round. Best rounds of all time are entered into the "Top Fighters" hall of fame along with player's name, percentage score, and round time. Practice mode is also available allowing students to build confidence before competing with classmates.
