The Dominican Film Festival in New York (DFFNY)
DFFNY’s mission is to promote a new generation of Dominican filmmakers along with the established ones. It strives on strengthening the vital economic and cultural relationship with the United States. The objective is to inform New York City audiences of the Dominican cinema and the relation to the history, politics and social life of this country through an aesthetic approach. The showcase will display an artistic outlet of our city’s diverse population, which includes a large ratio of Latinos from a stunning 21 countries.
