Now with Game Center support for playing against your friends, Word Sorts 5 -13 consists of 737 word sorts customised for four stages of spelling development – Letter Name Alphabetic Spellers, Within Word Patterns, Syllables and Affixes, and Derivational Relations. These stages are generally suited to students aged five to thirteen. In this extensive app, you will find a range of word sorts broadly covering the skills required to become an expert speller. Word sorts take a variety of forms, including some standard sorts and some mystery sorts (letters missing). Students are both scaffolded and challenged as they progress through the word sorts.

Students can complete word sorts as individuals or in the Game Centre (optionally), against an opponent. This app combines Word Sorts 5 to 7, Word Sorts 7 to 9 and Word Sorts 9 to 13.
