Description

Featuring the same entertaining format used in our popular Bone Scan Bob application, Muscle Scan Mike offers a ridiculously fun introduction to muscular anatomy for elementary and middle school kids.

In Muscle Scan Mike, you're presented with random muscles to identify. Just touch the muscular diagram in the correct location. The correct muscle is highlighted and you proceed to the next one.

Stumped? Go ahead! Press the "Muscle Scan" button. Mike glows an eerie green, his eyes roll around in their sockets, and the correct muscle location is revealed for you ... complete with sound effects fit for a Frankenstein movie.

Two levels of play are included. Beginner level quizzes a limited number major skeletal muscles using simple terms: Abdominals, Triceps, Quadriceps etc. Need more of a challenge? Try advanced level which covers a more extensive list of muscles using their formal latin names: Vastus Medialis, Rectus Abdominis, Sternocleidomastoid etc.

Score data is given for each round of 10 muscle identifications. So shoot for 100%, challenge your friends to a match, or just fry Mike to a crisp. You'll know your basic muscular anatomy in no time. And it's all in the name of good educational fun.

What's New in Version 1.1

- adjustable level of difficulty
- high resolution graphics for iPad and iPhone4
