Asthma Coach is completely proactive – meaning it doesn't require you to have to remember to initiate any activity or task. It's designed to help you quickly and easily do the things that are proven to improve asthma control. You can be confident the coaching and info is vetted by Advocate Health Care physicians and every aspect of the app is consistent with their most current and up to date expert treatment plans. Please make sure to allow notifications for the full benefit.

Because every person is unique, your experience will be continuously personalized. The high degree of personalization ensures that the program is delivering to you relevant and useful evidence-based info and coaching. You'll improve your knowledge and gain a better understanding of your condition while completing the most important tasks at the right time in seconds.

Most people will interact with Asthma Coach 2 or 3 times per week. It might be a little less if you’re doing well or more if you need additional support. And, of course, it's available 24x7 to research a question or communicate with your doctor. You can also use it to set up med reminders and keep a journal of how you're doing.

By simply spending a few minutes per week responding to the intelligent and proactive alerts, you'll improve your ability to keep your asthma well controlled and will benefit from having an expert early warning system for a variety of potential issues. The goal is to help you be healthy and avoid excessive visits to see your doctor, as well as expensive and time consuming trips to Urgent Care and the Emergency Room.
