This is an application that gives introduction on the island and its historical background.

The application offers Korean historical records such as Samguk sagi (History of the Three Kingdoms), Goryeosa (History of Goryeo) and Joseon wangjo sillok (the Annals of the Joseon Dynasty) which include the description of the history of Dokdo. It also lays out logical bases for refuting Japan’s claim on Dokdo. In addition, it covers the naming issue on the sea area between Korea and Japan, and proudly presents the 3-D Dokdo experience via virtual helicopter tour.
