Teach your 4 -6 year old child to read with this fun and powerful learning game. Using the highly successful phonics method for teaching reading and spelling, Blend Seeker holds your child's hand as they start to blend individual sounds together: an important early step in becoming a successful reader. They will, for example, hearing the sounds c and r at the beginning of the word crab.

+++ The Game +++
The games has two main phases. The first phase helps your child hear the first two sounds in words, and the second phase reinforces the main learning with an entertaining matching game. Where your child tries to feed a hungry sea urchin. Children can easily follow the voiced instructions so that parent support is minimal.

+++ Reports Home +++

The app automatically generates reports on the child's progress in the game and these are sent to any nominated email address. The emailed report also contains an attachment of a certificate to reward the child's progress.

+++ Extras +++

The Brainbeanz website has additional resources to go with the game including a sticker chart which can be coloured in as the child progresses through the game.

If your child has only started learning their alphabet sounds, you might find our first app, Sound Seeker 2.0 a perfect compliment to Blend Seeker.

Developed by two experienced infant teachers, this game is built as a result of years of experience of classroom games, and observations of how children best learn their sounds.
