Patzer (affectionately known as "Pat") provides an easy-to-use interface to play chess with your friends via e-mail.

Chess is enjoyed by countless players worldwide of all ages and skill levels. Designed for the casual player, "Pat" allows you to play friends from your Contacts List. Use iPhone OS 3.0's in-app e-mail feature to send your moves. When you can't find someone to play against, try your skill against c.y.an, the "Light Blue" chess engine. "Pat" can manage multiple games at once, so play at your own pace.

Enjoy chess on-the-go with "Pat".

Note: your friends must also have Patzer installed to play against you.
