Good Food Seasonal Recipes

DescriptionBBC Good Food – seasonal recipes to help you make the most of seasonal produce.
Seasonal Recipes is part of a family of Good Food recipe apps: other iPhone apps include the Healthy Recipes app, Festive Recipes app, Cake Recipes, Quick Recipes, One-Pot recipes and Good Food for Friends. For the iPad we’ve also got the Healthy Recipes and Quick iPad apps and the BBC Good Food magazine iPad app.*
We all like to make the most of seasonal flavours but it’s hard to stay on track of what to eat when. Blink and you’ll miss the British asparagus season while courgettes swamp our cupboards all summer, till we’re sick of the sight of ratatouille.
The Good Food seasonal app has more than 180 inspiring recipe ideas for over 50 of your favourite seasonal ingredients. From kale and celeriac to apples and pears, we’ll tell you what’s in season when to help you make the most of your favourite produce alongside inventive ideas so you can enjoy seasonal gluts in delicious and inventive ways.
Each recipe includes nutritional information on kcals, protein, carbs, fat, saturated fat, fibre, sugar and salt per serving.
You can switch between metric and imperial measurements on all recipes.
Our selection of videos will help you make the most of key seasonal ingredients, like how to make chutney, and how to prepare a ham.
We’ll also show you how to choose, store and prepare more than 50 seasonal ingredients to ensure none of nature’s bounty goes to waste.
