Comfort, that is what we are trying to achieve when we cool or heat
are homes. Heat from the sun shining down on exposed windows allows
unwanted heat to be radiated into rooms in our homes. During the summer
months this is undesirable, in the winter, this may be just what we need.
To control this heat we traditionally use window blinds, drapes or window tinting.
The only problem with these methods is that they block the desirable light
we may want in our homes.

This window covering concept will help to block unwanted heat while allowing the light that you want into your home.

This DIY project will show you how to make inexpensive window coverings that will allow visibility out the window but blocking heat from the suns rays. Once made, they can be easily installed and removed over and over again.
