This app is based around pictures by photographer Peter Carmichael and is a reflective insight into China’s past, at the dawn of its regeneration. From downtrodden isolationism, at the end of the Cultural Revolution, the Republic has transformed itself into an economic powerhouse without parallel - all within
25 years. Peter Carmichael was one of the first photographers to travel through China in 1979.
