A standout feature of this app is that it easily allows you to determine the diameter of solid core as well as the bundle diameter of stranded wire. This is an important point as the bundle diameter of stranded wire is always larger than that of the same AWG solid wire (hence altering the maximum current carrying capability of the wire).
