Description

Film Awards Quiz presents questions that are randomly generated from an embedded database containing all of the acting and directing Academy Award (Oscar) nominees from 1929 through the present day.

Because the questions are generated at random, they can be fun and challenging as they may cover recent nominees or ones from decades ago. You will discover the director who, in the early days, had three submissions in the same year for Best Director. You will become as familiar with early names such as George Cukor and William Wyler as you may already be with modern ones such as Steven Spielberg, Brad Pitt or Meryl Streep.

Simply click Get Question to display a question covering actors and directors who were Oscar nominees. Select your answer, and then click Check Answer to see if it was correct.

You gain two points for each correct answer, and lose one point for each incorrect answer. There is no penalty if you just click Get Question again to display a different question.
