"A Word Search Turf Battle"

Tutorial video at vimeo.com/78208287

Play words on the hex grid to claim territory. Take back tiles from your opponent by reusing them in words you play. It ain't over until it's over … big score swings are possible by isolating unused tiles to capture them and any of your opponent's tiles that touch them!

Game Center friendly to let you play multiple simultaneous games over the Web.

Want to see it in action before you buy? Try "Oh Hex LP", the free companion app that offers local play on a shared iOS device ("play and pass").

What's New in Version 1.0.1

Yup, the inevitable version 1.0.1 update where the slightly embarrassed developer squashes bugs that even after exhaustive testing managed to slip through into the initial release ...

+ Fixed the layout error on the tutorial page for 3.5" screen devices that obscured the "View Additional Online Tips" link. Speaking of, has ANYBODY even clicked on it and watched the stinkin' tutorial video I agonized over for two days?

+ Fixed the layout error on the iPad game overview (HUD) page that would clip off the very bottom of the last row of game overview blocks, assuming you had more than one page of games active. For those of you with scorecards, that's more than 16 games.

+ If an opponent resigned (out of turn) and you weren't currently viewing it, an extremely ill-behaved dialog would burst onto your screen and completely bewilder you by screaming about that other game. This rude behavior has been dealt with severely, and the newly humbled dialog will ONLY make an appearance if it has something to say about the game you're currently noodling over.

+ On the subject of out of turn resignations ... if you had the game overview HUD up when the resignation came in, the game list didn't get resorted. Fixed this so the game that your opponent bailed on will be properly moved down to the completed games portion of the display. Players with OCD can now rest easy ... all of the green triangles, red triangles and black triangles will be kept together in tight knit groups.

+ Fixed the crash when accepting an invitation to play. Your friends will no longer think you're being anti-social!
