Description

CarCockpit shows the speed, time and temperature on the windscreen similar to a head-up display in a vehicle.

Therefore the iOS device has to be placed onto a slip-proof surface below the windscreen and then start the CarCockpit App. Now the display of the iOS device is reflected onto the windscreen. By tapping the speed display on the iOS device it gets mirrored and so becomes readable on the windscreen.
The CarCockpit settings also allow to change the screen brightness, the background and text colour in order to achieve better readability. In addition the speed can be shown in km/h or mph and the tempereature in °C or °F. Below the temperature of 5 respectively 41 a snowflake gets displayed as a warning. The type size of the speed can be increased or reduced by a zoom gesture with two fingers in the main display.

Summed up the CarCockpit app provides the following features:
·Display of the current speed in km/h or mph
·Display of the current time
·Display of the tempereature in °C or °F
·Warning about black ice
·The screen display can be shown mirrored and unmirrored by tapping the display
·The background, text colour and the screen brightness can be adjusted in the CarCockpit settings.in the CarCockpit settings
·The type size of the speed display can be adjusted by the zoom gesture with two fingers.
·By long pressing the main screen the display screen orientation gets changed.
