Pip Stories uses our Interactive Phonics Reading Pad and Tiered Progression Scheme to help children learning to read with phonics.

The Interactive Phonics Reading Pad allows children to visually and orally understand the relationship between letters and their sounds - which lies at the very heart of reading with phonics. A child can touch any word and the Interactive Phonics Reading Pad will pop up to show them the correct letter sound combinations.

The Tiered Progression Scheme is designed to help a child build their confidence and see their progress as they are able to read the same story with increasingly sophisticated letters, words and expressions. Each level has a colour and these colours map the way reading is taught in schools around the country according to the National Curriculum.
