If you are in an emergency situation, you might not always be able to dial 911 (or the equivalent number outside the States) or call someone to come and help you, let alone send an email or text message. You might be disoriented, not able to speak clearly, or you might be under attack and not able to make a call. In such an emergency situation, the Distress! App can be invaluable.
A distress signal indicates that a person is in imminent danger and requests immediate assistance.
Distress! offers peace of mind by sending out a distress signal, via email to your emergency contacts when you might be in trouble.
If you find yourself needing help, with a few quick taps of the app, an email gets sent to your safe contacts (registered during the configuration process), telling them who you are and your location, no matter where you are in the world. You don’t need to worry about what the number is to call; it’s all automated in the app. It’s quick and easy and it saves time and lives.
