We all love our smartphones. They enrich our daily lives by helping us to be more productive, stay entertained, and communicate effortlessly. But too much of a good thing can be bad. For many people, smartphones have become an addiction of sorts, the constant browsing, chatting, and checking, disrupting relationships, mental/physical well-being ,and life in general.

No Phone aims to help break the smartphone addiction by slowly but surely forcing you to take some time away from your device, once a day, for 30 days. The idea is not to totally discard your phone forever, but rather, to help you live a balanced life that still includes it, albeit to a slightly lesser extent.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Once a day, set aside some time (30, 60, 90, or 120 minutes) to ditch your phone and do something awesome.
2. Open the app and tap on the next available day.
3. Start today’s challenge and the app will walk you through the process, asking you to set your phone face down for the duration, and failing you if you pick up your phone prematurely.

Along the way, it’ll coach you by providing helpful reminders, insightful articles, and the ability to share your success with friends via social networks.
