Description

Log Scaling Assistant is a tool that performs niche calculations specific to the lumber industry. It allows you to easily calculate the volume of logs and keep a detailed record of all your volume calculations.

The following log rules and formulas for volume calculation are supported by the app:

Board Foot Log Scaling:
+ Scribner Log Rule
+ Doyle Log Rule
+ International 1/4" Rule

Cubic Volume Log Scaling:
+ British Columbia Metric Scale
+ Bruce's Butt Log Formula
+ Huber's Formula
+ Newton's Formula
+ Smalian Formula
+ Sorenson Formula
+ Subneiloid Formula
+ Two-End Conic Formula

All volume calculations can be saved to a result sheet. The overall volume per result sheet will be computed automatically for you. Result sheets can then be exported via e-mail or printed via Air Print.

- Updated Formula for metric Sorenson calculation.
- Added detail information on the cubic volume formulas being used by the calculator. Simply press the "?" button to see the basic formula that is used for volume calculation.
