Description

Easily share your GPS location via email, text messaging, Twitter, Facebook, WhatsApp, etc. The recipient receives a link to an online map with your position on it. Please note that GPS does not work well under a roof. For best results, use outdoors.

Please note that the primary difference between this version and the free version is the removal of advertisements. This is not the pro or 'full' version.
Some users have expressed a desire for a minimalistic application for use by elderly, young, or low-interest loved ones.

One might ask why we don't offer this as an in-app purchase, and the reason that we do not is because the ad library (that shows the small banner advert on the bottom portion of the screen) actually accounts for about 80% of the applications download and install size. Libraries can't be removed from the binary file via in-app purchases.

Benefits of the no ad version:
- Simple with less distractions
- Small storage size
- No advertisements. Even the 'Rate application' and our other applications (such as GPS Odometer) on the menu popup have been removed. There is still a link to the full version in the top left corner of the main screen.
- Altitude
- Custom message footer

Note that it usually takes several seconds for the satellite GPS receiver to warm up and provide accurate position data. During this time, it's possible to share an old location or an inaccurate location reported by cellular tower triangulation. This is why the 'time since signal received' and 'location precision' readouts exist. Red means bad.

Please also note that choosing the correct coordinate format is important. Minutes and seconds are base 60, not base 100. For example, 2.50 degrees is 2 degrees and 30 minutes.

The datum used is WGS-84
