Keystone Communities contains organizational guidance and operational documents for employees of Keystone Human Services (KHS).

Since 1972, KHS has been working to create inclusive communities, build a better world, and change lives. We advocate for and with people with disability and provide support for people as they leave institutions, move into the community, and pursue their goals of home, work, and school.

Although we began in Pennsylvania, we have grown to include Connecticut, Delaware, and New Jersey in the United States, as well as India and Moldova, and we have built relationships with leaders, professionals, and organizations throughout the world.

We offer a broad array of services in the areas of intellectual disabilities, mental health, and autism. In addition, we offer Head Start services in Central Pennsylvania through Capital Area Head Start and place assistance dogs through Susquehanna Service Dogs. We offer technical assistance to governments, regulators, and other organizations, and provide educational opportunities to promote inclusion everywhere.
