SMART Tags for Pets make finding lost dogs and cats easier by sending text and email alerts instantly to other SMART Tag users.

Each SMART Tags contains an embedded NFC chip. Once you activate your free tag, it becomes part of the SMART alert network.
In the event your dog or cat goes missing, you log into your account and issue a missing pet alert. All SMART Tag users within a 2 kilometer (about 1 mile) area of your pet's tag will instantly get a text or email alert to be on the lookout for your lost pet.
