Tongue-Tied Brings Physics-Based Platforming To iPhone On 15th December

Tongue Tied, the intriguing debut iPhone title from Mojo Bones, will be released on December 15th. In this physics-platformer, you play as Mick and Ralph, a pair of unfortunate pooches who find themselves in an unusual predicament. Yes, they're tongue tied. That is to say, they have been tied together by their long elasticated tongues. Your task, then, is to guide these canine chums through 50 challenging levels - in search of the 'Wonderbone' - by stretching and firing them at the most appropriate moments. Game Center support, a variety of unlockables, and tons of perilous obstacles combine to form quite the comprehensive package. Tongue Tied will be available from the App Store this…

First Touch Soccer Developers Working on Free-To-Play Follow-Up: Dream League Soccer

The developers of First Touch Soccer, now a fully independent studio called First Touch Games, have announced that they're hard at work on a football follow-up: Dream League Soccer. Based on an updated version of the engine found in the 5/5 First Touch Soccer, this new game is a free-to-play title, which will allow footy fans to build their own team to compete against some of the world's top clubs. First Touch Games's director, Charles Chapman, promises this about the new game: Improved visuals, gameplay, and loads more. Dream League Soccer as a free to play game is a new direction for us, and something we're excited about. It's not a demo, or a cut down version of another game, it's all…

To-Fu: The Trials of Chi Is Now Free, But It's Covered In Adverts

To-Fu: The Trials of Chi has received an update which makes the game free to download. Unfortunately, that's not all the update delivers. In version 1.10.0 of To-Fu: The Trials of Chi, you will now encounter some of those intrusive in-app advertisements - even those punters who had shelled out hard cash for the game. Nevertheless, it's a good deal for newcomers, as the game and all of its in-app purchases are now free of charge. In addition, To-Fu: The Trials of Chi's developers HotGen have introduced five brand-new trials for you to play through. Tasking you with bouncing your bandana-clad bean curd through increasingly spiky levels, To-Fu: The Trials of Chi was awarded a very respectab…

Square Enix’s Chaos Rings Omega Updated With New Level Cap, New Weapons

Square Enix have just rolled out another update to their iPhone RPG Chaos Rings Omega, increasing the level cap, adding new weapons, and introducing a new boss to get trounced by. After a similar update for this 5/5 AppSpy favourite in June, the game's level cap has now reached a mighty 150, meaning newcomers will be battling for quite some time before maxing out their stats. Old hands can face off against fierce level 150+ foes in the hope of looting a shiny new weapon from their defeated bodies. There's also a new hidden boss to face off against - if you can find him. Two new Piu-Piu collections and new dungeon treasure chests round out the update, which is available to download now.…

Sequel To Gibbets, the Life-Saving Puzzle Game For Flash, Is Coming To iOS

HeroCraft, the Russian publishers responsible for the popular Flash puzzler Gibbets, have announced that a sequel is in the works, and it's coming to iOS. Playing as an altruistic marksman in the original Gibbets game, you cut condemned men down from the gallows, using only your trusty bow. With a limited number of arrows and multiple convicts to save, each level requires careful thought as well as careful accuracy. Word from Russia, then, is that Gibbets 2 is in development, and that it will be landing on the iPhone sometime in the second quarter of next year. When it does eventually touch down on iOS, it'll boast 30 new levels of slightly morbid puzzling action. There's no word yet on…
