Sometimes you just have to write about the first thing that comes into your head. So that’s exactly what I’m doing. I don’t know why this came into my head, but here is a list of the best haircuts on the App Store.

Now you may not have seen my hair, but I can tell you right now that it’s probably the most amazing hair that anyone has ever had on their head. It’s just really good. Accept it.

I’m telling you this to prove that my credentials for writing this list are solid. I know hair. I know mobile games. I’m pretty surprised I haven’t written this list before if I’m honest with you.

Cloud Strife

I think Final Fantasy's Cloud Strife has the best hair of any videogame character that has ever been in a videogame. He might even have the best haircut of anyone who’s ever been anything.

And it’s a perfect foil for his spiky personality. Oh he’s dark and mysterious and HIS HAIR IS LIKE A YELLOW MOUNTAIN RANGE.

The Hog Rider

A simple, elegant, and effective combination of a podgy mohawk and a beard. It’s a strong look. It’s even stronger if you’re riding on a hog. And the hog rider is doing that.

I mean, once you get past the fact that the Hog Rider is one of the most annoying characters in Clash Royale you can finally start to appreciate his do.

Hitman

Severe, precise, made out of plastic. I think the third one is the main reason I like Hitman in Hitman GO so much.

Like, that dude is literally meant to be a lump of plastic and if I showed you him right now you’d still know exactly who it was.

Red Bird

There’s a subtlety to Red Bird’s hair that you might have missed. But he’s got like a little red quiff thing going on. Which is pretty cool.

I think I’d quite like a little red quiff. But I wouldn’t like to get fired out of a catapult repeatedly. So me and Red Bird are quite different really.

Barry Steakfries

If you were called Barry Steakfries you’d definitely have to have good hair. How could you go outside with a name like Barry Steakfries if you didn’t have good hair?

That’s right, you couldn’t. Barry’s been in quite a few games now, but his subtle manly hair has always been with him. Well done Barry. Although I can’t imagine how much hair spray it needs to remain in shape.
