It’s Sunday. And that can only mean one thing. We’re all horribly sad that the weekend has come to such a horrible yet inevitable conclusion. But there’s still time for one more thing.

And it’s this one thing - a list of the five best games that came out last week. In no particular order, rather presented in the order that they came to me while I was sat on my sofa wondering what went wrong with my life.

Join us next week for more exciting content about the world of mobile games. And probably a bunch of other stuff as well. Maybe sandwiches? I really like sandwiches.

Voyageur

A text-based adventure with its own unique style. It might get a little bit repetitive towards the end, but there’s also a lot going on to recommend it.

There’s a great bit of writing here, and the game manages to mix its RPG tropes together into a compelling adventure that pushes you deeper into its galactic core.

A game about trawling through dungeons. But when you look a little bit deeper, you’ll find that it’s actually a puzzler, and a smart one at that.

You’ve got a set amount of moves to get through the levels. There are monsters to kill, loot to grab, and enough new ideas to keep you interested.

A smart puzzler that sees you swapping between two different characters. You need to get them both to the torch at the end of the level.

They can only stand on certain platforms, and there are buttons to push, spikes to avoid, and a lovely retro style to everything too.

OK Golf

A golf game that’s a little bit more than just OK. It’s not massively stuffed with features, but it does bubble and roll along at its own interesting pace.

The controls are simple, the courses are engaging, and there’s a lot here to sink your teeth into if you’re looking for a casual golf game.

Narcissus

A two player platform game that you can play on your own if you’d like. It’s an auto-runner with a character on the top and the bottom of the screen. You tap to jump.

And that’s it. It might sound incredibly simple, but actually it’s an incredibly challenging experience. And I really like the way it looks as well.
