Currently the app that gets most of my time is Infinity Blade 2. I played the first one and whilst I liked it it was repetitive and you got little back from playing. The new version is so much better, different weapon classes mean different fighting and defending styles, the gem mods mean you can pack some massive damage if you come across or forge the right gems. There seems to be more story and more routing options too. Whilst its core gameplay is still quite repetitive its much more fun than checking your jurassic park zoo for income!! With the icloud support I can play the same game on ipad or phone making it accessible all the time!

I am really waiting for a starwars battle front port - its just crying out for multiplayer battles!

My top 5 would be:
1: StarWars KOTOR
2: Baldur's Gate
3: NOVA 3 (purely for multiplayer instagib and jet packs!)
4: Machinarium
5: Pumped: BMX

looks like my taste for ios games is really different from most... I really coudn't care less for the port of big titles or nextgen graphics. It's difficult to pinpoint only 5 games, but here's my list...

1. TinyWings
2. Knights of Pen and Paper
3. Battle Heart
4. Triple Town
5. Nimble Quest

(excluding Kairosoft games, although I've spend more time with them than with all the above combined)

Other than Infinity Blade II, I've pretty much got bored with those games after a few days or a week or maybe 2 weeks for Plants Vs Zombies. Especially the #1 game on that list, I thought that game was just good, nothing great.

My top 5, no order

XCOM: Enemy Unknown
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic
Crimson Steam Pirates
Lego Batman
Gemini Rue...or maybe Final Fantasy Tactics (iPad version)

Personally, I get bored of apps easily, I've bought over a dozen apps and I play each one of them for half an hour or more then let them virtually dust or delete them. But, there's an exception. Minecraft. I know, Minecraft? Minecraft. Why not play it on PC you ask? Well, because I have the oldest computer in the world so I have to manage. And manage I have. I have put over 10 hours on this game and I love it. Why do I love it? Because it's endless, there is no end to this game, it keeps going, you have freedom to do whatever you want, and that's what the App Store needs. The App Store needs a game much like Minecraft or Skyrim, a game with freedom and exploration. However, so far, Minecraft has satisfied my lust for good game, for now. Also, I spend a lot of time on Minecraft PE because I've been a long time fan since October 2010 when I had a good computer. Now for my favorite games.

1. Minecraft (DUR)
2. Bike Baron
3. Bastion
4. Infinity Blade II
5. N.O.V.A 3
