Square Enix continues its great tradition of rifling through its extensive catalogue of older titles, and seeing how much it can get away with charging for them.

Their latest re-release is an iOS port of Final Fantasy VI.

Seen by many as the pinnacle of 16-bit JRPGs, and held by many to be the best entry in the oeuvre, this touchscreen port of the genre favourite has many gamers excited - and concerned.

Is the game still a classic? Is it worth your time and money? What's happened to those Super Nintendo visuals? And can you still perform wrestling moves on locomotives?

All these questions and more are answered in our hands-on video.

I concur. FF7 is the best, not just JRPG, but RPG.
