TGS 2014: Hands-on with Chaos Rings 3, the surprisingly colourful new chapter of Square Enix's mobile RPG favourite

It's fair to say that Chaos Rings, the ongoing fantasy RPG series, has had a bit of a facelift since the last time we saw it.

Just a quick glance at our exclusive footage of Chaos Rings III will reveal a sequel bursting with colour, 3D environments, and dudes with spikey hair. 

Though this cartoony boldness may be par for the course with an RPG like Kingdom Hearts, the Chaos Rings franchise has always been a little more gritty and muted where its colour palette was concerned.
