We went to Pocket Gamer Connects - AppSpy's Sunday Service

By , on January 18, 2015

We did pretty much nothing except attend and report on the massive Pocket Gamer Connects in London this week, so that's what we'll be focusing on for the AppSpy Sunday Service.

The Big Stories

1. Progress is an amazing WarioWare-esque minigame compilation that you have to play for yourself

2. Tindrops impressed us at the Very Big Indie Pitch with its slick, minimalist design

3. Magic Flute by Mozart meanwhile is an ambitious new puzzler based on an opera

4. Elroy and the Aliens is a wonderfully well animated action game crossed with a point and click adventure

5. Oh and while we were seeing all that lot, the new trailer for Sons of Anarchy got released

AppSpy Recommends

We've been far too busy playing future games to play ones released this week, so we can't truly recommend you anything from the past 7 days.

Sorry about that.

To try and make up for it, here's a compilation of the best pugs on Vine.

How we spent our weekend

James: Playing *yet another* Warhammer 40K game (The Horus Heresy) and trying to defeat leftover jet lag with leftover pizza.

Peter: I'm going to start reading the third volume of Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin, titled Ramba Ral.

Danny: Trying to stop coughing, collecting cats in Monster Hunter, and catching up on movies at the cinema.

Glen: Recovering from the very worst flu I've ever had.
