Netmarble has launched a new teaser site to kick start the launch of its newest “casual shooting game” Golden Bros. Not much information has been released thus far, however, the site and its new trailer can be found here.

Gameplay will take place in real-time and will feature 3v3 PVP combat. Players will be able to make their team out of a number of unique and quirky Bros that can grow and develop. Whilst playing through battles they will be able to collect Skill Capsules, which will be used to set Bros up in various combat roles.

The controls are said to be relatively easy and intuitive to pick up, with various combat rules and maps that will allow for a myriad of strategies to be carried out, so there will be a depth to the battles that will need to be planned around. The short battle periods and ability to uniquely develop Bros with various skill configurations will keep battles fresh and unpredictable.

As the latest release from the company to apply its blockchain technology, Golden Bros will allow players opportunities to earn virtual assets as they play, tentatively called Netmarble Coin, which they will be able to sell or trade with others.

Speaking on the matter with Business Korea, the CEO of Netmarble, Kwon Young-sik, said “We plan to support the virtual currency in an exchangeable form through a decentralized exchange, without listing it on a centralized exchange immediately after its issuance.”

“We will also prepare for the virtual currency’s listing on a centralized exchange in the near future. It is difficult to give a 100 percent confirmed answer regarding economics of coins, but we basically do not have plans to sell our own virtual coins in the market.”

Golden Bros will be available on the App Store and Google Play, with pre-sale and early access becoming available in early 2022.
