South Korean developers Haegin has announced the soft launch of its new casual PvP sports game, Super Baseball League in select countries for mobile, with a worldwide launch coming. Set in the same universe as its predecessor, Homerun Clash, Super Baseball League promises to deliver competitive, quick, run skill-based baseball.

In a no-doubt welcome announcement to critics of the sport, Super Baseball League plays out over one short inning as a tiebreaker 1v1 match. This makes the game very accessible to fans of baseball who can’t necessarily sit through a full nine innings of an MLB match. With the action being compacted into a short timeframe, the gameplay comes thick and fast, with simple batting and pitching controls to facilitate the speed.

There are multiple modes available for any super sluggers out there. There is the 1v1 Super League, the World League, Situational Training and a few more. There is also the option to randomise aspects of the match to keep things fresh. Batting Order, Home/Away decision and runners on base are options that can be played around with.

Being set in the same universe as Homerun Clash, Super Baseball League has some of the well-known sluggers pop up for players to sign, each with their own unique skills and abilities. These, as well as other original characters, can be signed in order to build up the most powerful team and advance up the player ranking. Characters can be customised with level-ups, upgrades, stat assignments, star promotions and more to give them the edge over their rivals.

Super Baseball League is available to download on the App Store and Google Play for players in Canada, Australia, Philippines, Netherlands and Argentina, with a global launch set for the first quarter of 2022. A pre-registration for the worldwide Android version will be announced by Haegin in the near future.
