Com2uS has announced the global launch of collectible idle RPG Valkyrie Rush. Perhaps best known for its MMORPG Summoners War, Com2uS has got a lot of pedigree in the mobile gaming world to offer the developers, Novacore Studios

Idle RPGs have been around in many forms throughout gaming, whether it's the fully autonomous auto-battlers like Little Hero: Casual Idle RPG where you kit out your little man and watch as they swat enemies by themselves, or ones with a few more mechanics like Dungeon & Alchemist - Idle RPG, where the character fights whilst the player fiddles about with crafting. These games will seldom offer alot of depth, but it is nontheless an important genre for those of us with a bit too much adult responsibilty to sink hours into a game, so it is nice to see more come through to cater for the busy gamer.

For Valkyrie Rush, the aim of the game is to summon fairies and then fuse them into the titular Valyries, forming a team from over 40 available characters and using them to blast enemies away. Combat takes place in the sky, fitting for Valkyries, with the chosen team advancing whilst automatically unleashing their bullet hell style attacks. Players can even get involved with easy touch and drag controls to aim the characters.

True to the idle form, the Valkyries will continue to fly offline, amassing experience and gold, which can then be used to upgrade the team and prepare them to compete in the special modes, such as Ranking PvP and Daily Bosses.

To celebrate the games launch, Valkyrie Rush is having special log-in events. Players can receive in-game currencies such as Rubies and Sky Pieves just by logging in. On top of that, Com2uS is giving away a Shiny Tier 10 Fairies summon to give a head start on the game.
