Mobile game giants Com2uS has announced the launch of a series of in-game events to commemorate the upcoming one-year anniversary of Summoners War: Lost Centuria. To make the year a good one, there are a variety of in-game rewards to claim, as well as some real-life loot for players to get their hands on.

Summoners War: Lost Centuria spawned from what has to be one of the most popular mobile RPGs, the vanilla Summoners War. The original game performed incredibly well, amassing in excess of 150 Million downloads worldwide, grossing over $1.3 billion in earnings and scoring top-10 status in over 80 countries on the App Store and over 50 on Android. That is a lot of pedigree to bring forward into this spin-off.

The celebrations see the release of a new Monster; Renée, a light hero monster. With her “Magnetic Field” skill she can grant a Shield to an ally. After this shield, Renée will inflict damage proportional to the Defense to an enemy in the opponent's hand. She also comes with the “Recovery Module” passive skill, allowing her to recover 5% HP every 10 seconds whilst also granting Shields equal to 30% of the reduced HP when taking skill damage, making her an outstanding sounding support character. To celebrate her release, players can participate in a Special Summon event, earning Renée after completing a set number of Summons.

Players also have the chance to gather a new in-game currency, called “Magic Powder Dust”, by playing the main content of the game up until March 21st. Additionally more can be earned by playing the Ranking Battle mode. Those that participate in the event for more than three days will also receive a free “Premium Skill Stone Summon”. This new currency will remain after the end of the event and can be used to create a stronger monster and deck combination. They can also be exchanged for “LCT”, which is a digital token unique to the game, through the C2X station, an electronic wallet, with more information following in an upcoming update.

By inviting more than five people to download the game, players will be automatically entered into a contest with the chance to win prizes including an iPad Pro, an Apple Watch 7 Series and an AirPod Pro.
