The dinosaur craze in every form of media has been a constant for quite a while and shows no sign of slowing down with the release of mobile RPG Dino Clash. Answering the question of “what would happen if man lived amongst dinosaurs”, the solution is of course to attack them with stone axes and prehistoric magic. What else?

The aim of Dino Clash is to build up a squad of primitive heroes and dinosaurs and wreak havoc on the opposition. Players select their units, position them in whatever formation desired, and then unleash them onto a battlefield of crazy bouncing blocks all determined to be the last one standing. There is quite a wide array of heroes to select from, ranging from giant warriors, magicians, restoration shamans and more, as well as the most mighty of animals, the dinosaurs. There is even a merge mechanic to combine units and make them even stronger.

There are two main ways to play, as there often is; PvE and PvP. The main story tasks players with building and protecting their base, defending it from a gauntlet of Dinosaur bosses that drop unique skills when defeated. For those seeking a more competitive style of play, there is the PvP mode which hosts a rank advancement system to climb, a leaderboard to climb, and the chance to win entry into special event battles.

Dino Clash is available to download now for free on the App Store and Google Play, and for a limited time to celebrate its launch new players will receive 10 summon tickets and 10,000 Gold, as a nice way to start the dino-war.

For parents of little dinosaur fanatics be warned, while the download is free there are in-app purchases available with a large Gem Package costing a mouthwatering $94.99, so more then usual be sure that the device's payment options are well and truly locked down.
