Zynga Inc, a subsidiary of Take-Two Interactive Software Inc, has announced a new map for its hit puzzler Merge Dragons!. Titled Arcadia, this map is a permanent expansion to the game and adds a huge new area for players to explore.

The new map, Arcadia, has been confirmed to be the same size as the original, effectively doubling the amount of content the game offers. Arcadia is covered in the same fog as the original map, which requires the player to periodically reveal it by increasing their Arcane Levels, achieved by obtaining Arcane Chests. This new map can be unlocked by reaching 2,000 Dragon Power and interacting with the Beacon at the Dragon Camp. Arcadia is full of new relics and items, along with a plethora of rewards including exclusive relic chains geared for different dragon breeds, all waiting to be obtained by adventuring through the mysterious new lands.

Merge Dragons! is developed by Gram Games, a development studio founded in 2012 that is safe to say has a lot of experience in the merge genre, creating Merge Magic, Merge Gems, Merge Farm and more. They were acquired by Zynga back in 2018, who is another company that boasts an impressive resume, having a presence in 175 countries and holding a diverse portfolio of mobile games that have been downloaded more than 5 billion times.

When discussing the latest update the Chief Product Officer at Gram Games, Eren Tanik, said “Merge Dragons! continues to thrive by building on the innovative puzzle mechanic it introduced to mobile gamers while further immersing players and their dragons in the game world. The new Arcadia map symbolizes our goal to keep evolving the Merge world and introduce new design-forward features that expand the in-game experience.”
