It is pretty interesting how often space travel pops up in games with a fantasy setting, and this contradiction continues as Netmarble announces the latest update for Ni no Kuni: Cross Worlds. You can now explore the Interstellar Space dungeon, as well as collect a powerful new piece of equipment.

To ensure you are prepared for your journey into the cosmos you will need to look into the new equipment items, Crystal Orbs. There are two types that these orbs are split between; Attack Types and Defense Types, so as you may have deduced, you will be able to complete any kind of gear setup you have going.

After completing your spherical scavenger hunt, it is time to grit your teeth and head into the Interstellar Space dungeon. You can tackle it in both Solo and Party modes if you feel like you need a hand, but the headline here is that clearing this in either way will reward you with materials to power up your new Orbs, so it is definitely one to grind out a bit.

To celebrate this update, everyone has the chance to obtain a plethora of helpful equipment by completing the new events until May 3rd. If you want a powerful new familiar, the Treasure Island Treasure Hunt, an inventive name, will reward you with the four-star Purrloiner. Simply complete daily activities to collect Old Treasure Map Pieces to trade.

If you fancy a spot of board games, roll the dice one the Starry Space Dice Event for the chance to win Superior Equipment Enhancement Stone Chests, Miraculous Warding Dolls and more. Finally, upon completing the Delightful Suprise Missions you will get your hands on rewards such as 5-Star Tetro Puzzle Selection Packs, Jelly Bottle and a 5-Star Decoration Chest.
