For anybody looking to beat the summer heat, NetEase Games has you covered with the upcoming map for its survival game LifeAfter. Frostland will lead players to an abandoned city that has been all but destroyed by the infected, a perfect place to be a bit of pilfering wouldn’t you say?

After your board the try you will find yourself in the frost city of Jagalinburg, a place that truly earns its moniker. Blanketed in snow, this is a city that has been devastated by the infected. The place is completely taken over by these fearsome foes, where only the most foolhardy would dare to venture. But you know, loot and that.

We don’t get to see too much of this new location, but what we do see does look promising. There are numerous huge buildings that are destroyed and run down, however, that just means plenty of places to explore. These types of areas are typical in survival games, and they are always quite fun, as you never know if the next room will be treasure or trouble.

The shots of the city streets show that the city is still overrun by infected, so we can expect some fierce fighting as you pick your way from building to building, especially from the rapid-looking fella who scales that building with ease. Something I do hope will come into play though is the snow. It never looks that heavy, but if it picks up into a blizzard and impairs visibility, that would make for some very interesting raids.

After you venture through this snowy landscape, you will have to combat fearsome bosses, unpredictable traps, and even hostility from other survivors. Taking down these bounty bosses to secure loot would be easier with a few helping hands, but who can you really trust out in the wild?
