DMM Games and f4samurai, known for the popular Madoka Magica game, have announced their latest official licensed product based on the hit series Code Geass. Code Geass: Lost Stories brings the mecha madness to mobile with thrilling real-time combat.

Code Geass is set in an alternate timeline where the world is split between three superpowers. The Holy Britannian Empire has recently conquered Japan through the use of mechanoids called Knightmare Frame. The exiled Britannian prince, Lelouch vi Britannia, turns on his country and vows to liberate Japan through the use of his new power, Geass, which can bend an individual's will.

Lost Stories places you in the shoes not of Lelouch, but a trusted friend of his. Fans of the series will enjoy meeting familiar characters such as Kallen, Suzaku, and C.C, experiencing interaction with them through a set of impartial eyes, and excellent choice by the developers.

Combat takes place through real-time battles, with teams composed of pilots and Knightmare Frames. To give you a starting jump, and to celebrate over 500,000 pre-registrations, all users will be able to add the Lelouch (School Uniform) pilot to their teams, and also get 3,300 Sakuradite as a nice starting fund.

There is already a fair bit of content planned for the game's debut month, starting off with the customary log-in event to gain extra Sakuradite. Starting September 18th, there will be two events running; Expedition Event Scene.01 and C.C - [Accomplice] Scout spotlight, so get a decent team together in the first few days to prepare.

In possibly one of my favourite marketing pieces in a while, the team has put together a very charming little welcome message from some of the game's cast. Voice actors Jun Fukuyama, Ami Koshimizu, Yukana, and Manaka Iwami introduce themselves and their characters. It's a very nice behind-the-scenes type touch, and certainly worth checking out.

Code Geass: Lost Stories is available to download now from the App Store and Google Play.
