Komoe Games has announced that pre-registration is open for its upcoming officially licenced card strategy game, Tokyo Ghoul: Break the Chains. Currently only available in select regions, you don’t want to miss out on this retelling of one of the best-selling mangas of all time.

Tokyo Ghoul is set in a world where ghouls live amongst humans in secrecy. Although they look alike, however, they can only survive by consuming human flesh. The protagonist, Ken Kaneki, winds up becoming a half-ghoul, with the story following his struggle between living a normal life and suppressing the urge to chow down on his friends and loved ones.

You can follow Kens’ struggle from the start, as Break the Chains faithfully reproduces the anime's plot, allowing you to relive the story and interact with a host of fan favourite characters. Then, collect these guys, gals and ghouls, and set them loose in turn-based strategy battles, where you combine cards in order to unleash devastating skills. If you are the type who likes to scrap with your fellow half-ghouls, then you can get your fill of PvP thanks to the arena. This will be a true test of everything you have learned.

If you happen to live in one of these regions and enjoy the series, you can get your hands on a host of rewards such as Gold, RC Cells and Summon Tickets simply by signing up.

Of course, in the case of many of these campaigns, that isn't the end of all the free gear we can get, as further milestones will unlock additional prizes. 300,000 will get everyone 100 Stamina to fire through the story, 500,000, 800,000 and 1,000,000 will unlock extra summons Tickets, and the grand prize waits at 1,500,000 in the form of an Exclusive Avatar Frame.
