It is the dawn of adventure for a new sailer in the seafaring sandbox Uncharted Waters Origin, as its latest update sees the introduction of a new S Grade Admirmal and S Grade Mate. You can also take part in some special Autumn events until October 24th and get your hands on a free A Grade Mate.

Our new S Grade Admiral this time around is Nui Hoku, the only daughter of the Incan Chief Priest, who has struck out to follow in the footsteps of Andrés de Urdaneta and journey across the world as they once did. She comes equipped with Scouting expertise, as well as Exploration Supply Conservation and Amplify Ram Defence.

Hokus’ journey appears to have been unexpectedly successful, as the new S Grade mate is Andrés de Urdaneta themselves. Boasting the ability to increase defence during melee combat and gain more rewards when reporting discoveries, they are a well-rounded ally, although them being a mate and Hoku being the Admiral feels a bit backwards really given the story.

Should you manage to unlock Nui Hokus’ Memoirs, then you can tackle her Chronicle without expending Energy to unlock a variety of items. Superior Mate Tickets and Superior Item Tickets are all up for grabs, however, the highlight here is definitely the 4 Tickets for Andrés de Urdaneta.

When shipbuilding, you will now see a new cancel feature for a bit of ease, and the Occupied Limited Area Exclusive Trade Goods have also been added, probably the longest-named goods there are. Finally, for new features, there have been some Guild Management functions introduced for you to get your ship in order.

This Autumn also hosts two special Scenario Events. Series protagonists Catalina Erantzo and Hernan Obregon will both have featured stories until October 24th and if you manage to clear then you will get yourself the A Grade Mate Hernan Obregón as a participation reward.

Uncharted Waters Origin is available to download from the App Store and Google Play.
