Blue Archive has announced the arrival of their latest event story, Dragon & Tortoise: Working Together for a Better Future. Good news, however, they have also released one of the most overpowered characters I’ve seen from NEXON, and that is very exciting.

This new story sees Sensei take a trip to the Shanhaijing Academy, and walk slap-bang into a catastrophic culinary competition between Black Tortoise Promenade and Genryumon. Intervene to settle the dispute, and not only may you salvage their friendships, but also grab a Card Bundle to unlock some new furniture.

A healer is a vital component of any team, and our first new student has that covered well. Rumi, an Explosive Striker, can use her EX Skill to hurl a portion of fried rice to an ally to heal them. She throws it with such force, that it can also ricochet off her target and heal up to three other allies around them, which is a hilarious image. Her subskill also adds a regan to those healed, making Rumi a pretty tasty option.

On the other hand, the Explosive Striker Mina is a one-woman wrecking crew. Her EX deals 312% of her attack as damage at a baseline, rising to 593%. If that's not enough, it also decreases the targets ATK, EVA and ACC. This then helps proc her Normal Skill which deals damage every 8 Normal attacks depending on how many status ailments the target has, i.e. the three you just inflicted with the EX attack. To round off, when casting her EX Skill, Minas’ own ATK, EVA, and ACC raise. She also dual-wields pistols, as if you needed any more reason to recruit her.

Rounding off an already packed update, the 23rd Chapter of main content Missions is also available, along with three new T8 gears. Finally, until December 18th, you can take advantage of the Double Reward Campaign through Bounty, Commission, and Lesson content, perfect to level up your new best friend Mina.
