Ever since the release of Nordcurrents’ kitchen masterpiece Cooking Fever, virtual chefs have dreamed of doing culinary battle with each other, wooden spoons at the ready. Now, that fantasy is finally within grasp, as PvP spin-off Cooking Fever Duels launches tomorrow for Android, and a little after for iOS.

Duels will take place in real-time, so the heat will well and truly be on. You will be battling each other and the clock, with chefs judged on how quickly and accurately you get the dish to your patron. There will be the ever-present tug-of-war gauge showing who is on top, just in case you need that little extra pressure.

For those competitive chefs already waiting with spatulas in hand, there will be a variety of local and global challenges to take part in, all adding to your place on the leaderboard, but there can only be one Master Chef. Upgrade your kitchen so you have the best gear, and master dishes from around the world, and the title could be yours.

When discussing the launch of their combative culinary contest, Cooking Fever Duels Project Manager, Tomas Šiukščius, said: “It is always rewarding to deliver something that is much wanted by our player’s community. A PvP version of Cooking Fever has been a wish of some of our players for many years.”

“On one hand, we feel safe about the success of Cooking Fever Duels, knowing that we have done a game our players waited for. On the other hand, we can't wait to see how the lovers of competitive games will enjoy the kitchen races and which group will prevail in the long term.”

Cooking Fever Duels will launch on Google Play on December 7th, but will need a little longer in the oven for iOS users, with the App Store version following December 14th.
