TEPPEN plumbs the depths of Capcom depravity with latest card packs

In perhaps the most true-to-life event in gaming this winter, GungHo Online has launched the Absolute Zero card pack for TEPPEN. This update draws from perhaps one of the most polarising titles in Capcom history, the Lost Planet series, propped up by some new Mega Man heroes.

Carrying on from the Sigma’s Invasion story, Leon Kennedy and Ada Wong of Resident Evil fame find themselves stranded on the dying planet of E.D.N III, populated by deadly monsters. Leon is rescued by a group known as the Resistance and is brought back to Ada, now in the form of a Cyber-Elf. This melting pot of Capcom properties joins forces to free Neo Arcadia from Dr Weil, with new cards such as a Red Leon, and a Legendary Resistance Hero Zero available to help you succeed.

To celebrate the New Year and TEPPEN's 4.5 Year Anniversary, there are a host of events to take part in. Until, weirdly, April 1st, you can take part in event quests to earn 2024 Medals, which can be traded for relics from past events. One way to get these medals is the A New Year Begins quest lasting until February 1st, which will also reward a ton of items to build a strong deck.

The beginning of 2024 will see a bunch of rapid-fire events taking place. From December 29th till January 3rd, players can battle it out in the TEPPEN New Year Cup 2024, with Zenny, Absolute Zero pack tickets, and icons up for grabs. You can get more of these pack tickets every Monday in January just by logging in.

Continuing this monsoon of free items, logging in between January 5th and 19th will net you free rewards like the Red Secret Card Dex Oyama and the Anniverdary Pack 1 ticket. This is swiftly followed by a chance to get a Purple Secret Card Dante Masamune and an Anniversary Pack 2 for signing on between January 19th and February 1st. Add this to the three Secret Spheres for logging on between January 5th and March 1st, and you will be swimming in free gear.

TEPPEN is available to download now from the App Store and Google Play.
