Zynga, the company responsible for the loss of productivity in offices around the world (ok, that's unproven, but you can't tell me that you haven't sneaked a play of one of their games at work at one time or another) have released FarmVille for the AppStore.

That's right, now you can manage your farm on the go with a lightning fast interface that'll keep you synched up no matter where you are.

Oh, there's just one teensy problem right now... We're experiencing a few difficulties in staying connected to the servers (it IS release day, so it's to be at least somewhat expected), however we'll keep on trying until we can get a full review ASAP.

For now, fans of the game are unlikely to need much convincing and can grab a copy of FarmVille for their iDevice right now for free. For those not yet indoctrinated in to the black hole that is a Facebook game, we'll let you know what you can expect soon.
