Monster Dash Anti-Hero Invades Fragger's Territory

By Richard Brown, on August 2, 2011

We love a good mash-up here on AppSpy, even one or two from that ridiculously uplifting Glee programme.

Yep, guilty as charged.

Of more interest to us, though, of course, are mash-ups in the mobile games biz, and so we were delighted to hear of a collaboration between the pair of venerable iPhone devs Halfbrick and Miniclip.

The former is probably recognisable to most as the creator of Fruit Ninja, the insanely addictive slash-'em-up, whilst the latter is known for its suite of free flash games.

Now, these two worlds collide, as the star of Halfbrick's brilliant Monster Dash Barry Steakfries invades Fragger in the latest update, bringing with him 30 additional levels of explosive fun.

In the 5* Fragger, players chuck grenades at an assortment of enemies using simple touchscreen controls. It really is that straightforward.

And it really is that good.
