Galaxy on Fire 2 On Sale For Easter

By , on April 22, 2011

Next Thursday – which in some quarters is known as 28th April – sees the launch of the hugely anticipated Valkyrie add-on to Galaxy on Fire 2.

Fishlabs’s epic space trader acquired a formidable 4 out of 5 stars from our Andrew, who complimented its sheer depth and scope.

I was personally sold on the time-travelling protagonist’s name Keith T. Maxwell. It’s all about that T, you see.

By the by, the Valkyrie expansion pack will contain tons of new content, from missions to space craft, and weaponry to characters.

And in anticipation of this splendid upgrade, the renowned German publishers have discounted Galaxy on Fire 2, meaning you can now jet on over to the App Store and purchase it for $4.99.

Until Monday.

Go get it and tell us what you think in the comments section below. But be nice. Please.

Andrew I would like to ask you something...
I am experiencing occasional choppy framerate when shooting new valkyrie weapons (berger flak cannon and icarus - weapons that do splash damage).I am playing this game on my iPod 3g 8GB (basically iPod 2g).Can I fix this somehow or its happening because of deficient hardware?
Sorry I know youre not technical support.
Thank You!

I still think Andrew underestimated this game in his review. To me even 5/5 can't really tell how epice this game is.
New features in the coming add-on seem quite impressive. They also did some polishing as to the game's framework. Can't wait

At the time the game was reviewed there were issues holding the game back - unfortunately I've not had the time to return to the game again despite its multiple updates which have been quite amazing to read about. This has been a priority game for updating for a while now (along with several others) - this update might force my hand :)
