Konami's Classic X-Men Sneaks Its Way Onto iOS
What's this coming in at a sneaky angle to iPhone and iPad? Why, it's Konami's 1992 arcade side-scroller X-Men.
Even though Konami is presumably too preoccupied with E3 to publicise its release, we've decided to do their job for them today.
Players of the original cabinet classic will know they're in for a treat, and those that don't should assume they soon will be.
Utilising an on-screen joystick and button combo, X-Men invites you to take charge of mutant goodies Cyclops, Colossus, Wolverine, Storm, Nightcrawler, or Dazzler.
As you can imagine, the aim is to bring down Magneto's naughty little scheme by blasting, teleporting, and, errr, punching your way through hordes of unwitting pawns and very witting archenemies.
So, if you're in the mood for some button-mashing arcade action this weekend, X-Men might just be your best bet. It's priced at $2.99, folks.

I still remember getting enough people together to play the dual screen multiplayer cabinet arcade game in the back of a drug store. Of course, I always wanted to be Wolverine, but I often ended up having to play Dazzler. What an awesome game. I hope it translates well, and I wish there would be multiplayer because the experience is just not the same without a whole team. Just like Turtles in Time.
Yeah!! also will be great to see some day Zombies ate my Neighborhood on my iPhone, you think that that would happen some day or I'm just crazy?? haha
That would be kind of cool :)
