Gameloft's The Oregon Trail Goes Free For Limited Time To Celebrate Incoming Sequel

By , on September 29, 2011

Gameloft's remake of classic Apple II adventure title The Oregon Trail has been reclassified as a limited-time freebie to celebrate the impending release of its sequel, The Oregon Trail: American Settler.

The game features all of the trials and tribulations that befall a 19th century pioneer, such as attacks from bandits and random bouts of dysentery.

Through skill-based mini-games and side-missions, you'll find yourself hunting for food, fishing, foraging for berries, and repairing your wagon.

Why don't you grab a horse, race over to the App Store, and grab The Oregon Trail while it's free? Go on.
