GREE releases new game targetting the "mid-core"

GREE has released a new monster nabbing title that it hopes is going to bridge the gap between the hardcore and the casual. So there's epic adventure and battles, alongside world building and house keeping tasks.

Called Monster Quest, the game is all about capturing 400 different types of beast, then building up your own personal army of monstrous servants. There's a PVP mode as well that allows you to pit your army against another player's, battling it out to see whose collection of hideous creatures is the strongest.

“From casual to mid-core games, our mission is to continuously expand our content offering to provide deeply entertaining experiences to all types of mobile gamers around the world,” said Kenneth Chiu, SVP, Game Studio, GREE International, Inc in a press release.

“In Monster Quest, the talented members of the team that brought us Crime City, Modern War, and Kingdom Age have created a smooth, high performance game that uniquely ties fantastic art with a deep single player experience and high quality PVP interactions.”

If all of that sounds right up your street, you can pick up Monster Quest for nothing at all from the App Store right now.
