Horror approaches: Dare you visit Indigo Lake this Thursday?

First-person survival-horror game Indigo Lake is set to creep onto the App Store this Thursday.

From what we can gather, this is essentially Most Haunted (or Paranormal Activity for you US folks) with guns.

When your ghostbusting buddy Dr. Everett goes missing near a holiday resort called Indigo Lake, it's up to you to strap on your proton pack (read: hand gun) and track him down.

As you can see from the trailer (below), gameplay consists of running around spooky-looking forest environments, shooting spirits with a tracer gun (which apparently scares them away), and completing puzzles.

We don't know what these puzzles will involve but we are going to assume they feature blood, demons, and long periods of silence followed by an obnoxiously loud noise.

You'll also have accesss to your handy jeep,  which will help you explore the island and locate clues left by Dr. Everett.

We're working on a review right now, so check back here on Thursday to see whether Indigo Lake scores big on the scream-o-meter.

Meh.... It doesn't look that great. Honestly, I'd rather see a reboot of Hysteria Project, or another HP game.

I would never play this on a touchscreen. Looks interesting, obviously lacks polish. I'd pay a buck to play it, but with a mouse and keyboard.

Again, I repeat myself : Stop making FPS games for Tablets and Phones. It just CANNOT work.

Sorry but I totally disagree! I have played many FPS games on ipad and yes some control better than others but you just have to get used to it.

GameCase is meant to be coming - though I'm getting sick of waiting, this will make FPS games on ipad just a controllable as they are on consoles - have you seen it - there is a logitech one also due out but this does not have the dual stick that the GameCase does.

Yeah graphics are generally not as good as console, but when you have been playing games as long as I have and remember what graphics used to be like, its not so bad! I lost countless hours of my life on golden eye on the nintendo 64 - take a look at that now it looks terrible!! But I would still give it a play through!!
